Controversial Post

UNAPOLOGETICALLY RAW!
Controversial Post
We need a new generation of warriors. Many are called into the ministry but few are chosen to lead.
Every generation birthed leaders. The Bibles says, if my people who are called by my name would able themselves, pray and seek the face of God, God would heal our land.

We need leaders who will stand up, bring about unity and structure back to our neighborhoods.

We are allowing anything to go on in the anointed sanctuary set aside for fellowship and worship.

Parents are not setting examples for their children to follow.

As I walked around and asked people to vote, I was amazed at the amount of young adults who said to me, “I do not vote” “I am not registered. One specific store that I went in to offer rides to the poles, they said to me I am a citizen, but I do not vote” none hurt so much that I could not believe, was “is it election day, what are we supposed to be voting for?

Many people do not watch TV anymore, they do not watch the news, and are binge watching their TV shows.
Advances in technology have isolated people from the politics.

As leaders, we must come together to decide how to reengage our communities.

I live right in Ocala and many events held are geared toward the same people. Every event, you see the same pet and not very any new faces.

It is sad that we do not see each other as equal.

I saw some pastors stepping out of their comfort zones and going into the neighborhoods, door to door.
I even offered to drive people to the pills. I simply want to see the process work.

It will not work until Muslims support Christians, Christians support Jews and so on and so forth. We cannot approach young people talking to them about slavery, they have not been enslaved, Muslims cannot talk to their American born children to practice being secluded from the process of America because they have not lived in Arab counties suppressed.

We cannot live in bubbles and expect to run for offices now days .

When community events are taking place on the Westside, the same people come to these events.

Mayor Kent Guinn is a politician but he is also a human being. If you call him and he is available he will show up.

He is not afraid to sit in majority black churches. No matter how big of small the church is he will show up. That is what you do when you represent all people,

You come out of your comfort zone.

I invite all races to come together and make our city and our county better.

I had both signs in my yard because my husband is one party and I am another. We exist and we respect each other.
Unapologetically Raw. A few of our white neighbors stopped by where we pay taxes and asked my husband why would he have a Muslim sign in his yard.

Personally, my husband is more meek than me because I would have preached a sermon to them.

Another asked “Nate you have a sign for Mayor Guinn in your yard and for the Muslim lady.

I applaud Manal for having the courage to run and having two negatives stacked against her, she was a woman and her faith may or not be Islam. What does it matter? Thanks for asking, it has nothing to do with her running for office. If she lives in this community, if she pays taxes in this community, she is one of us. It may do her well to keep fighting, nothing good is ever easy. I challenge Kent Guinn to make some lunches with his opponents to see how they can work together.

I challenge Pastor Dove to keep working, keep hoping and praying for unity in our city. Our success and our futures are tied together.

Charity begins at home and spreads out of the house into the community. How many Muslims participate in events sponsored for Blacks. How many Blacks attend events sponsored by Hispanics. How many whites other than politicians attend events sponsored by Chinese and Vietnamese people.

If we want change we must be the change. We must stop magnet programs, we must stop hiding out in our bubbles and get to know the cultures of one another.

How many Blacks go into stores owned by Arabs, Chinese and Vietnamese and get followed around the store as if you are criminals?

These are tough questions but they must be dealt with and must be changed to be able to truly experience equity.
We must take a genuine inventory of our lives before we throw stones.

A tree is known by the fruit it bares.

If we expect people to trust us, we must build that trust.

I sincerely hope that Manal you stay visual, you are a winner and you can use your influence to unite the cultures of Islam with Ocala. Do not hide out in your country clubs, your religious customs and expect to be embraced by people who do not know you regardless of race, creed, nomination or religion, we are humans and make up the human race.

Anyone running or expecting to run for office. Show up. Show up when the media will not be there for a photo-op.
God bless our city. Thank you again Kent Guinn for being the change you want to see.

Your actions speaks volumes. God has given you victories so many times, now bring about unity. Plan events for all people. Make the world a better place. I have seen your heart, the Lord gives and the Lord takes away.
Do not associate yourself with racists. I speak this prophetically.

God’s Grace and Mercy is just that His. If the saved do not set better examples, we cannot expect better for the World. We cannot live in the same community and not affiliate with one another any longer. There is no loyalty because of color, national origin anymore, people are looking for better lives.

Good day to everyone. I did not get to post this on yesterday.

I suppose that God had me wait until today.

I thank God that we live in America. I witnessed democracy in Action.

I would like to Congratulate Mayor Kent Guinn who has brought great things to Ocala.

I would like to congratulate Manal For running a good campaign.

We are all members of the Ocala Family and we must continue working hard to bring unity into Marion County and Ocala, One person, one family, one community, one city at a time.
