Psalms 105:4. David said, “Seek the Lord’s strength and His presence continually.” I thought that by simply acknowledging Him everyday, I was doing good; all this time, I was not doing enough.
Lately, I have become entrenched in the Word of God and it has been refreshing to me and unto my soul.
I have been able to Immerse my mind in song, praise, prayer and God’s Wird to the point that days are going by so fast and I am finding less time to focus on the cares of this world.
Some songs make me cry, some smile, while others fill my soul with joy.
I am very sentimental, very serious about my family and often wanting to relieve others from suffering.
I have discovered that when I focus on the presence of Christ in my life, I am comforted by God, through His SON Jesus
Feeling His live for me and reading His Word is giving me more peace and less confusion in my life. It is no longer important for me to know exactly what day it is or what time it is, because I know in my heart whatever the moment is, God is doing this journey with me.
I found that moving on God’s timing and not my own is what works for me.
As I accept that I am powerless over anyone but myself.
I can pray for others, wish them well; but, I cannot fix their problems because I cannot fix my own. In God, I lay my burdens and my issues at His feet.
I must keep Him at the forefront of all my beings and He will take charge of my obligations.
If you want to find an ounce of peace here on this earth, you must accept the presence of Christ in your life and understand that He is present where we cannot be. We have to trust Him toctake care of our lived ones who are not always in our presence.
Even in our most difficult moments, we have to be comfortable in our belief system that God is I control and He will do right by His people.
Let me encourage you to staying the presence of God. Give thanks to Him continually, sing pra8ses to Him, allow yourselves to meditate on Him in times of distress, steal away in a place where you can praise your way through any obstacle. We must praise God and encourage those that we live to seek the Lord continually; when we seek His presence miraculous things happen.
Jeremiah 29:13 states and I paraphrase, if We seek the Lord, we will find him. That is a promise God revealed through Jeremiah and that promise is still true today.
Recently, I had to slow down, I had to refocus on what is important in my life. I had to go back and pick
God up where I had laid Him down. I was going through the religious rituals, but was spending little time in God’ presence. His presence is when I am in a quiet place, reading, meditating on His Word is where I now find peace.
I find that the best place for me is in His presence. When I try to fit myself in with the world, I am often left unhappy and unfulfilled.
When I attempt to “fix” things or worry about others, I lose sight on God’s comfort and peace in situations.
Now, I am more aware of the goodness of the Lord and all He has done and is doing for me.
As Christians, we spend too much of our time wondering why things are happening to others and not enough time giving thanks for who God is to us.
Dear God,
Thank you for your live and comfort right now. Let me always seek your presence. Lord Jesus, may I always keep my mind open to you for guidance, for peace’ strength and comfort in times of despair. When my way seems dark, let your light shine through. I thank you that you are God. Your Word tells me that “in your presence is fullness of joy, Psalms 16:11. Guide me to this place where your peace abides, where you are the pilot and I am the passenger. I will seek you continually. I long for your grace and mercy. Thank you for the assurance that you will never leave, nor forsake me. I will carefully praise you with all that I am. When I have prayed my last prayer and sung my last song, give me a place in your Kingdom, forever, Amen.
